World 2
Here is a complete virtual world for you to play with. It is a maze with an entrance and an exit. It is not a particularly difficult maze, but it demonstrates some features of VRML. Here are a few things I would like you to take notice of:
1. The width of the avatar may not let you pass through some spaces.
2. What happens if you walk into a wall at an angle, or at the end of a wall?
3. The columns move up and down through the floor. You must get past it or it will block your way again.
4. If you can position your avatar on top of the column when it drops down, it will raise you up like an elevator.
If you have a VRML viewer installed, then click on this link to view the maze:
To download this zip file, right click on it and click on "Save Target as". Create a new folder on your drive, put the zip file in and open file "mstart.wrl". This will bring up a browser window(offline), the VRML viewer will start and the maze will appear. Always put each new world in a new folder.
