There are some places in Second Life that are rated Adult, which means that there could be violence, nudity or other Adult situations. Second Life does not allow people under the age of 13 on the website, and must be Age Verified for the system to allow a person into Adult areas. If you have a teenager who wants to play on Second Life, it is possible for them to join SL with false information, but you can check their Dashboard to see what they are qualified for. Overall, the various places in SL are rated Moderate, which is generally safe for kids.
"Castillo del Corazon" is rated Moderate and provides a certain amount of supervision from Lady Yole, Lord Greymyst and other people in the castle, such as Knights, Ladies of the Court and people who are learning about SL. Great effort is made to provide security and comfort to the visitors to the castle. We do our best.
There is only one room in the castle that you might want to see for yourself that only concerns your teenage daughter. Lady Yole has set aside the Spa(Picture above) as an area for Ladies Only to provide privacy and security to the ladies. The door is locked and a female may be placed on the access list by Lady Yole only, after meeting and talking to the person. If you, as a parent, have any questions about this, you can use your daughter's avatar to speak to Lady Yole directly, person-to-person, or email(Contact). One of the main reasons Lady Yole has set this room aside is that newcomers to SL usually do not have a home. This means that an avatar may have to literally undress in front others in order to change clothes. Providing this spa gives young girls a place to do whatever they need to do with a certain amount of privacy. On the other hand, there may be other women present, who may also be changing. This situation may not cause any concern to you, or your daughter, but we do not feel we have any right to make a decision for you, so we humbly bow to your wishes.
