Build your own Virtual World.
All it will cost you is time!!
You have entered into a new experience, where you will learn how to create your own Virtual World. There are no special educational requirements for this. Young and old, will find these projects to be an easy and fun way to acquire useful knowledge in geometry, decimals, angles, points in space and numerous other skills. For those of you who already have a good working knowledge of these skills, you will simply be able to move into the more advanced designs faster.
I am sure that many of you are looking at this out of pure curiosity and I hope you like what you see. On the other hand, many of you are here for a purpose. Perhaps you have been looking for a Hobby, or maybe you want to create something special for your website, or maybe you want to earn extra money and create something for someone else's website, or maybe you might like to start a 3d Animation business. You may also find this site to be of great value to you and your children as a safe place to play, learn and create.
All of the training material on this site is "Hands On". You will be directed to copy the code for each subject and bring it up in Wordpad. If you make any modifications, you are on your own. We are not trying to teach you EVERYTHING about VRML, because this site would be about 3 or 4 thousand pages long. The intention here is to teach you what you need to create your own virtual world, and you will know more than enough to create a very nice world.
I highly recommend that you begin with the Discussion subjects, then move on to Geometry and create your first basic objects to start out with a good knowledge base. Each subject will discuss the code to help you understand exactly what is happening with each script. Don't forget to install one of the VRML viewers.
