Here is another piece of free software for you to try. The name of the program is Blender. It is open source software for creating 3D images, games and videos. The name of the site is blender.org.
I have been checking out the website manual and the Blender program. The people who have put together this project have done a very excellent job. A commercial program would cost about $20,000, so this open source software is quite a deal.

After you have spent some time on Second Life, You might get to a point where you get a little more serious about your participation. One of the first things that become important to people is their appearance. It is fairly easy to spend hours looking for new clothes, making changes to your body, or buying a new skin. The one thing that is more difficult to change, to your own satisfaction, is your face. You can buy a shape that has a face you might like, but 200,000 other people also bought it. You can go to the "Appearance Mode" and make modifications to your face. If you are good at it, you might be happy with the results. If you are not very good at it, you could end up looking like Godzilla.
